LEDdynamics Introduces a Miniature Low Voltage DC/DC LED Driver

Randolph, VT (January 17, 2019) – LEDdynamics, Inc. announces the full release of the MiniPuck F004 low voltage LED driver.

Measuring less than one cubic inch, the MiniPuck changes the rules and delivers a dimming, constant current power module ideal for driving all types of high-brightness, high-power LEDs where volumetric area is limited.  “As LED driver manufacturers continue to follow the miniaturization of the semiconductor market, lighting manufactures are able to create products with significantly reduced size” says Daniel Yasi Jr.  VP of Sales at LEDdynamics.  “These fixture size reductions require drivers that are able to fit into smaller areas and at the same time meet the demands of custom applications.  The Minipuck was developed to meet those exact needs”.

With a mechanical envelope encompassing a minuscule 0.79 x 0.66 x 0.43 (LWH) inches, the MiniPuck can deliver up to 700mA of drive current which places it top in class amongst other industry solutions.  Touting an over twenty-percent reduction in physical size from standard drivers, the MiniPuck is available in a pinned package making it ideal for custom low voltage requirements in a variety of applications including solar, architectural, track, marine, cabinet and display to name a few.
