RANDOLPH, Vermont – Blue Highway Capital, of Boston MA and Philadelphia PA, announces that it has placed a first institutional investment into LEDdynamics Inc., of Randolph VT. The funds enable the company to undertake planned expansion, with additional milestone investments anticipated in 2020.
In June of 2019, LEDdynamics moved operations into a new bespoke facility built with the assistance of the Vermont Economic Development Corporation, the Green Mountain Economic Development Corporation, Peoples United Bank and the town of Randolph, VT. The Company’s commitment to quality job creation, local community, and emphasis on shared prosperity values contributed to Blue Highway’s decision.
Blue Highway partners, Karin Gregory and Christine Jones, led the investment. “LEDdynamics’ track record of creating technology in LED lighting, electronics, and in emerging fields that increasing rely on engineering expertise portend solid growth,” stated Gregory. “We look precisely in rural areas for companies with strong management, niche markets and sub-optimized assets that are underserved by traditional funding sources,” added Jones.
“US based design and manufacturing underpins a sustainable future,” said Bill McGrath, CTO and Chairman, of LEDdynamics. “With Blue Highway’s expansion capital, a new facility and our strong commitment to quality, we can expand offerings for our customers with the highest quality products.”
“Blue Highway is an excellent partner for us. Karin and Chris are consummate investment professionals who, after examining our business, embraced an expedited process of funding our Company. They understood LEDdynamics’ core strengths, engineering excellence and innovation,” said Neil Cannon, CEO.
