1776 Eye Street is a unique commercial property with an iconic entrance at the intersection of Eye Street and 18th Street NW Washington, DC. The lighting design revitalizes the building entrance, with the Luma Series VO fixtures illuminating the vertical fins in the transition area. LO fixtures backlight the front panel of the reception desk in the main lobby.

The Bass is Miami Beach’s contemporary art museum. Focusing on exhibitions of international contemporary art, the Bass presents the work of artists that reflect the international character of Miami Beach. The development of a new courtyard implements RIA in a 3000K high output configuration. Inlaid into the floor, RIA lights the stone walls of the historic building.

The Cathedral of Saint Patrick located in Norwich, Connecticut, is lit with Luma Series LO and UC linear arrays. Using custom optics, lenses and brackets, the Prolume lighting is discreetly affixed to supporting buttresses, providing up-lighting to the Cathedral ceiling.

The design at the Charlotte Douglas International utilizes the LO product and a custom extrusion, which enabled a narrow beam angle distribution, achieved using custom optics. The fixture allows the light to be manipulated, and achieves the desired visual effects projected onto the ceiling.

Soaring ceilings and avante-garde design make for a beautiful event space. The Jordan Lobby evokes the grandeur and history of the Benjamin Franklin National Memorial and serves as a stately entrance. Legacy Series RIA fixtures illuminate the perimeter cove of this historic facility.

The City Deck is a riverfront promenade along the Fox River in downtown Green Bay, Wisconsin. Legacy Series RIA fixtures were used in both warm and cool CCTs, to provide lighting for this waterfront renovation project. Prolume fixtures, combined with DMX controllers, allow a full range of white color temperature tuning.

A project to widen 2 miles of US 68/KY 80, from two lanes to four lanes, was undertaken in Canton, KY. LIA fixtures from Prolume cast step lights illuminate the Kentucky Lake Bridge. Step lights are used for pedestrians, and LIA fixtures illuminate the graceful arches of the span.

L2 is a best-in-class lounge that competes with scenes found in international destinations, globally. Luma Series LO fixtures were used to provide perimeter lighting of the projection screen area, and alcoves. LO fixtures were used in the bar area to provide shelf up-lighting.

Logan Airport 9/11 Memorial

At Logan Airport, the 9/11 Memorial is a permanent tribute to the passengers and crews of American Airlines Flight 11, and United Airlines Flight 175. The Memorial is visually stunning by day, and is enhanced by soft, respectful lighting as the sky darkens for a truly stunning effect. This soft glow is achieved with the Prolume RIA fixture to appear to make the memorial glow with a subtle, even light.

The Lord & Taylor retail store in Boston utilizes Legacy Series RIA fixtures for dramatic up-lighting. Mounted in custom rails, the RIA was recessed to deliver a neutral glow to the cornice of the parapet on the building.

National Post Museum

The National Postal Museum opened on July 30, 1993. It was created on November 6, 1990 in a joint agreement between the Smithsonian Institution and the United States Postal Service. Luma Series LOfx fixtures were used to backlight transparencies of US Postage Stamps, in the windows of the museum, and deliver dramatic visual facade during evening darkness. LO and LOfx fixtures were also used, to provide illumination to artifacts in display cases within the museum.

Downtown Asheville’s historic public square has been a central focal point since the city’s creation in 1797, lying at the intersection of ancient trading paths. Legacy Series LIA was used to provide the lighting in this uniquely designed serpentine shaped handrail located in Asheville’s beautiful Pack Square Park.

Rotunda for the Charters of Freedom

The Rotunda for the Charters of Freedom, at the National Archives museum, is the permanent home of the original Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States, and the Bill of Rights.
The Rotunda was renovated in 2003 to ensure the safekeeping of these records for generations to come and utilizes standard Luma Series HiCfx along with customized brackets to deliver ideal dome illumination. Visitors to the Rotunda will notice the cool temperature and the low lighting, which are designed to reduce the devastating effects of heat and light on the precious records.

Shelburne Museum

American folk art, French impressionist paintings, Historic New England architecture, duck decoys, circus animals, and dolls. These were just some of the interests of Shelburne Museum founder Electra Havemeyer Webb. Legacy Series LIA fixtures are used to illuminate miniature dollhouse displays and cases within toy and variety units at the Shelburne Museum.

St. Clement’s castle is rich with history and allows guests to feel transported back in time to its opening in 1898. The UCfx and HiCfx from the LumaRail series were used here to highlight specific historical and architectural features in this grand space while allowing the ambiance to remain undisturbed.

Urban Umbrella

Urban Umbrella transforms construction riddled sidewalks into safe, welcoming pedestrian corridors, while giving building owners and developers an aesthetically pleasing option. Utilizing Profile Series Contour mounted with clips to form radius illumination mounting, the fixtures are able to form a radius illumination on the curved custom designed brackets of the scaffolding shed.

Vermont Flannel Store
Prolume collaborated with Mark and Linda Baker, owners of Vermont Flannel, to modernize the lighting inside their flagship store in Woodstock, VT. The historic tin ceiling and canvas portraits along the perimeter of the store presented an opportunity to uplight. Using the Duo-Series linear LED fixture, equipped with the latest LED technology and utilizing asymmetric 20° bending optical lenses, precisely highlighted the VT Flannel brand and the buildings architecture. The new lighting simultaneously gives the impression of more depth and projects extra footcandles onto the garments. Linear LED downlight fixtures installed directly over the clothing racks were able to be hidden behind custom shields. This eliminated glare and blended the fixtures into the existing structure.

Created for the benefit of the citizens of the Commonwealth of Virginia, VMFA is a state-supported, privately endowed educational institution. Its mission is to collect, preserve, exhibit, and interpret art, and to encourage the study of the art. The Waterbury Rail Art Project was commissioned and installed on the railroad bridge at the gateway to downtown Waterbury, VT. Phil Godenschwager designed and developed a one of a kind structure. Prolume RIA fixtures backlight the structure creating a stunning nighttime impression.
