Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative in Randolph, Vermont with exceptional attention to detail. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced sales environment and work closely with multiple departments and the sales team in the support of direct and indirect demand creation efforts.

Inside Sales Representative – Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing and dotted line to the VP of Sales, you will be responsible for supporting the direct and indirect sales team and working closely with prospects, customers as well as the Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance departments.

Inside Sales Representative Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support direct and indirect sales team to maximize revenue for the company
  • Receive, validate, enter purchase orders and issue order confirmations
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers (RSM) and territory Agents to generate and deliver quotes
  • Regularly and professionally interface via phone and email with prospects, customers and agents
  • Monitor and manage company backlog for changes and proactively notify customers
  • Generate and distribute business reports
  • Operate a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to support business efforts; upon implementation
  • Support the sales team in generating revenue as well as other business development and customer related activities
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings as well as quarterly and corporate meetings
  • Monitor market trends and communicate to sales and internal teams
  • Answer incoming telephone calls
  • Complete other tasks and duties as needed, requested and assigned by manager

Job Requirements & Hiring Profile


  • Associate degree in business, communications, sales, marketing, or other related discipline desired but not mandatory
  • Experience with Inside Sales or Customer Service beneficial

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail approach
  • Basic sales techniques and best practices understanding
  • Proficiency with MS Office Products
  • Knowledge of DBA software a plus but not mandatory
  • Organized and punctual
  • 2 – 3+ years of successful sales-related roles including inside or outside sales, customer service or related fields
